1. Who we are

This website, livnstays.in (“Livn Stays”, “we”, “us”), is operated by Syed Rayan Ahmed.

2. What data we collect

  • Website forms: your name, phone number, email address (if you give it) and the details you type into an enquiry or booking form, such as preferred move-in date, room type and your message.
  • Accounts: if you create an account, your email address and login details, and the profile and booking details you add.
  • Residents: if you stay at a PG we operate, we collect ID proof for tenant and police verification, as required by law.

3. Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiries.
  • To manage bookings and stays.
  • For legal verification of residents (tenant and police verification).

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where required by law, for example with the police for tenant verification. If you send an enquiry about a PG listed on Livn Stays by another owner, your enquiry is passed to that PG’s owner so they can reply to you.

5. Storage and security

Your data is stored securely in our database provider, Supabase, with access controls in place. It is accessible only to the owner (Syed Rayan Ahmed) and, for enquiries and bookings about another owner’s PG, to that PG’s owner.

6. Cookies, analytics and browser storage

  • We do not use any analytics or tracking tools on this website, and we do not set advertising cookies.
  • Your browser’s local storage is used only for site functions: your light/dark theme choice, PGs you save, the office you choose for commute times, and, if you sign in, keeping you signed in.
  • The map on our Cozy Living and Contact pages is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

7. Advertising

We may use Google Ads to advertise our services. Google’s use of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

8. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing rayan.sra1@gmail.com. Some records (such as resident verification documents) may need to be kept for as long as the law requires.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
